Qualifying and Elimination Bracket Racing Guidelines
A. In order to form a class, the minimum number of trucks must be 6 total.
B. Transmitters must remain off in the pits unless that participant is racing. If found to be using controller while not competing controller will be confiscated by a No Limit of Maryland R/C official, and will be returned upon 5.00 violation fee.
C. The race course and event format will be discussed in the drivers meeting. Each
participant is required to be present during the drivers meeting. Any and all questions can
be addressed during that time regarding the events and scoring.
D. Once a participant has "staged" his/her truck at the starting line you have one minute
to stage.
E. A one minute grace period will be allotted only if the participant encounters a problem
at the starting line. Each participant will be allowed to receive only 1, one-minute grace
period per run.
F. If the truck moves across the staging plane before the green light is illuminated, then
red light will illuminate, indicating a false start.
G. Trucks are required to come in contact with the obstacle (e.g. crush car ramps or
ramp) with either the front two tires or back two tires. If only one tire of either side of the
truck contacts the obstacle, a one-second penalty, for each occurrence, will be added to
the participant's final time.
H. The truck may not hit or come in contact with any part of the timing system or its
barricades during the run, which will result in a disqualification.
I. When trucks are competing and one or both completes an illegal run, the first truck in
violation will be disqualified. In the event that a time is unable to be recorded due to the
violation, the remaining participant will be assessed the slowest time of the day.
J. Competitors will be allowed to run only 1 truck per class per driver.
K. Track officials have the right to impound and inspect any truck at any time.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Truck Pulling Guidelines
A) All trucks need to be weighed in by a pulling track official prior to the pulling competition.
If your truck is over the weight limit, or does not meet the guidelines, your name will be
placed at the end of the list. Once you have made the modifications to meet the guidelines,
you will be able to compete. The scales will be open throughout the day for you to test the
weight of your truck.
B) Each participating truck will be hooked to the sled with the chain pulled tight. When
the truck is no longer able to gain forward drive, a No Limit R/C Track Official will signal
you to stop, thus ending your pull. The distance from the front of the pulling sleds skid
plate will then be measured.
C) The Pulling track is 4' x 30'. In the event a participating truck goes out of bounds, the
distance will be measured at the area of the pull sled which crosses the out of bounds
marker and there will be a 2 foot penalty imposed.
D) There will be 2 rounds of pulling before the competition moves forward onto the pull off.
This gives each competitor 2 chances to record a full pull which will earn them a spot in
the pull off. If a competitor records a full pull in round 1 of the pull off they are not
required to pull in round 2
E) A "pull off" will result if two or more trucks record a full pull. For the "pull off" extra
weight will be added to the sled until a winner can be determined. There will be only 1
round in the pull off.
F) If a participating truck disregards a No Limit R/C Track Official's signal to cease pull,
which results in an over pull, the truck will be disqualified.
