Breast Cancer Charity Event! October 23, 2010
September 18th, 2010 - DA$H for CA$H!
. It was a nice cool day just perfect for an all out battle for the Ca$h! All Monster Trucks were in one class, but the Electrics came out on top taking all three podiums! Ronnie, Brian and Josh came out as the top three in MT with Ronnie being the TQ. Ronnie, Josh and Tom took home the Ca$h for the Tuff Truck Class. Sonny had the TQ but didn't make it to the final three. Yes, Ronnie swept the event taking both first place Ca$h prizes and Trophies. Good Job, Ronnie.
We also tried a couple different new events. We played a game of Musical Monster Trucks. (Musical Chairs... Parking Spots) it was a lot of fun and we will probably throw that in from time to time. Sonny came out the winner of MMT. Don't forget! Our next event is a 100% Charity event for the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation on October 23rd! All proceeds from the event will be taken to their main office in Towson. Hope to see everyone come out to help support the cause! We will be having a Powder Puff Class were all the Ladies, Women & Girls will be in their own class that they will race in for free! Additional Donations will be accepted. |
August 21, 2010 - Points/Trophy Race
August 21st, 2010 - Points Race #5It was a beautiful day out for our 4th Points Race. The track was long and fast with racers giving it there all in the last straight-a-way to finish ahead of there opponent.
In Young Guns, Sonny Santucci has a big lead over the others in the class but Tyler Chancey took first place this weekend, so could the tide be turning? The Small Block Class is being led by Ronnie Santucci with his Bone Stock T-Maxx (that he won from last years raffle) with Josh only 20 points back. Tom Scott has a firm grasp on the Big Block Points with Mike Hylton Jr only 70 points back in second place. The Electric Class has Gabe Gravini sitting on the top of the list but there are two racers (Josh and Ronnie) only 40 points back. Ronnie Santucci also leads in points for the Tuff Truck Class with Bill Chancey and Mike Hylton under 80 points back. Freestyle was won by Ronnie Santucci and Josh Simmons managed to wipe out Ronnie's sweep of the days events by out jumping him in the Long Jump Competition. With only 3 more Points Races left in the series it looks as almost anything can happen! November will be at the Middle River Hobbies Track and will be a Double Points Event! But let's not get ahead of ourselves... Our Next Event is going to be a Da$h for Ca$h Event! September 18th! All Monster Trucks will be in one class. (Young Guns, Small Block, Big Block, Electric all together) . We have been asked about running nitro against electric and here is your chance with a CA$H prize and braggin rights! Plus we have a couple special events we are working on! See you September 18th! Mike Hylton President NLRCMD |
NLRCMD & NLRCVA North vs South 1st Annual Event
North vs South July 10, 2010If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times, God loves Monster Trucks! That proved to be true once again at the North vs South RCMT Showdown. It looked like we were gonna get rained on, but just before we started, the rain dried up and we had an awesome event. Dwane and the folks at Awesome R/C in Fredericksburg were the perfect hosts! Just in case, they erected a massive tent for us thus creating the 1st scale arena event in No Limit history. It was a great time and as always it's good to see and race with everybody. Thanks to all that came out and if you missed it, well, you missed another great No Limit event. Not to worry the North VS South will be an annual event.

2nd Anniversary Event! Can you believe it? Two Years of No Limit R/C Racing in Maryland and the second time the Screamin’ Demon was part of the celebration. On behalf of all the crew and racers, I would to thank Jay and Cory Snyder of Team Screamin’ Demon for taking the time from their busy schedules to bring their Monster Truck to our event. Once again you guys made the event special. Jay signed autographs and let the kids sit in the driver seat of the Monster Truck!
Additional Thanks to SMC Batteries, Sidewinder Fuel and Middle River Hobbies for their support and sponsorship for the event. The track layout was a cyclone type where competitors started at opposite ends of the field. There were lots of close races and thank goodness we have a timing system because a few of them were to close to call by eye. Race Result Pictures are posted under the “Results” Tab. The Next Event is the NLRCMD & NLRCVA combined North vs. South Monster Truck Showdown at Awesome R/C Hobbies in Fredericksburg, VA! Hope to see everyone there! |
May 15th, 2010 The No Limit R/C Racers had a change of pace with this event! Side-By-Side Elimination Racing with both trucks in the same lane. There were lots of lead changes during the races which made for some exciting finishes.
Tom Scott was the Overall TQ for the day with his ERCM Big Block Savage. The points moved around a little after this event. Ronnie Santucci of Team Santucci moved to the top of the Small Block Points Series. Tom Scott pulled away from the field and is leading in the Big Block Points Race. Sonny Santucci of Team Santucci is holding a commanding lead in the Young Guns Points Series. Despite not finishing on the podium, Gabe Gravini is still the points leader in the Electric Class but is getting caught up to. In the Tuff-Truck Points Series, there are three racers with-in 10 points of each other but Ronnie Santucci is holding on to the top spot. A Huge Thanks goes to Middle River Hobbies for letting us invade their track for the day and for the prizes they gave us to give away! Another Big Thanks to SMC-Batteries, BUKU and Sidewinder for the prizes they sent for this event and thank you for your continued support of NLRCMD! Don't forget to stop by and check out what our sponsors have to offer! Our Next Event will be June 19th, 2010 but right now the focus is turned to the World Finals V at Diggers Dungeon on Memorial Day Weekend! Hope to see you all there. |
